Jeff Spotlight

Jeffrey Scott Perdziak

Illustrator

Jeffrey Scott Perdziak has been doing artwork for as long as he can remember. His first love of the arts were comic books and superheroes when he was young. As school offered more and more art classes, Jeff took every advantage of the education.

After a year of college at R.I.T., taking foundation courses in all elements of art, Jeff started producing more and more artwork for people in his community. Portait drawings, pet portraits, and murals, as well as working on superhero art! You may have seen Jeff at a comic con set up with his art here in WNY.

After several years Jeff started doing murals in the community. One at Clarence Center Elementary, then several at people's homes. The biggest outdoor mural he has done is the “West Shore Railroad” mural in Clarence. 70 ft wide and 18 ft tall!

Soon, came childrens book! Jeff's illustarted 12 children's books over the years. And has done artwork for several novels.

Jeff currently works full-time at Dave and Adam's in Buffalo, doing artwork. Doing sketch cards, painting on autographed baseballs, bats, and footballs for their Hit Parade products. Jeff also has done a great deal of mural work at their retail store.

So basically when Jeff is doing something, it's usually artwork for someone! Unless he's spending time with his wife and family.

First Edition Readers' Favorite Review

Review Rating: 5 stars! Go on a journey of self-discovery and learn to accept yourself in Mubu the Morph by Stephen Nawotniak. Mubu is a Morph. He can do many things. He can be many things. But Mubu is confused. Who is he really? What is he really? As Mubu searches for answers, he discovers a very important lesson. Mubu is Mubu, and though he can be anything, he is who he is, a Morph. Who are you? Are you listening to your soul-song? Or are you trying to conform to what everyone is telling you that you should be? In Mubu The Morph, Mubu teaches us that although we are all connected, we are all unique. We need to honor ourselves and listen to who we really are. Mubu The Morph by Stephen Nawotniak is a beautifully illustrated book with an important message: Be you! I love reading the Mubu books. They are cute and they rhyme beautifully, with special messages that stick to us for life. The author has created another perfect book to read as a family. In Mubu The Morph, the author addresses self-esteem issues. He reminds us that each of us has a purpose on this planet and that while being interconnected, we still need to embrace our individuality. By accepting ourselves, we can help those around us, and then the world. I believe that this book is important for children to read as its message needs to be heard. It isn't what people think you should be, but who you know you are. I recommend this small book of thirty-eight colorful pages for the whole family, especially children ages 4-10.
